It’s all about family…

We’re a family-owned and operated property, and we believe in making sure our residents feel like family when they live here.

AJ “Spot” Airoldi’s parents came In the early part of the 1900’s, his parents, Grace and Joe, came to the US on the boat from Sicily, to port the of New Orleans. AJ was a was war hero and a family hero. He packed up and moved to Dallas in 1950 in an old Pontiac, with a wife, three kids, and $75. Spot started a construction business, and with his signature inner strength, he created a wonderful life for his family. Fast-forward to now, and Spot’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren still carry on his commitment to creating memorable family experiences.

In 1966 the Spot purchased The Castillian Apartment Homes and made a point of putting residents first, like his family. Fifty years later, we are still a community that is considered part of the Airoldi family. Our residents hail from all over the country, and they call Dallas and The Castillian home.

and our beloved banana trees

When we call our property an oasis, we’re not kidding. The Castillian has always been known for our gorgeous landscaping and the banana trees that have become our mascot. You might think you’re in Hawaii, and that’s ok, because you don’t have to board a plane to find tranquility.
